Lifesavers

It seems like my blog is either boring because life is good and therefore, there isn’t much to say or it’s a debbie downer because once again drama has reared it’s ugly head. Oh. You’ve noticed too? GREAT.

Actually, I think it’s time for another Video Blog, but I tried recording one last week (yes, OK, I was at work at the time) and I was so boring that all I did was yawn through the whole thing. I think Michael has to work tomorrow and since I work better when he isn’t around, I think I’ll give it a whirl.

Speaking of Michael not around: He’s going to MN the first week of August to spend time with his brother/go to Huntsville to check in on the 12-plex there. He will be gone for 10 days. That’s as many days I get for vacation in a year (don’t get me started). I also think that is the longest stretch of time we’ve been apart. At first, it WILL be awesome. I enjoy some time to myself. After about 4 days, however, I am going to start to get lonely. I will start eating Funyuns for dinner. I will stay up until 1 AM watching Sex and the City. I will live too much in my head and probably go to pieces over the state of my relationship with my brother. It’s gonna be ugly.

Tonight is Friday movie night and we’re going to see Bruno. I only thought Borat was OK, but I am hoping that this one will tickle my funny bone. I am also hoping that this movie will not make any of my gays want to break-up with me. Word on the street is it won’t. I guess we’ll see!

OK. This barely a post and I have Cherry Lifesavers to eat.

Pokes on: "Lifesavers" (3)

  1. Get out of the house when Michael’s gone around day 5. Don’t sit at home and stew in your mind.

The longest Sweety’s been gone was 4 or 5 days and I lived like a complete bachelor. I’m not sure that I even bathed. On the morning he was getting home, I ran around like a loon cleaning the house, dogs and myself.

  2. So what did you think of Bruno?? I SO want to see it, but I want to see it with My Love, so I may have to wait for DVD.

Thanks for the add BTW. Knew I could count on you. ;-)

  3. Bruno was OK. . . I mean, yes, it was hilarious and outrageous, which I love. But it’s not the kind of movie you can really watch more than once, at least in my book, and I like movies that I can watch over and over.
