When I go to a concert or live event, I’m not one to stand up or anything. I like to sit perfectly still and just suck it all in to remember later.

While I rarely go to concerts I see parallel behavior at sporting events. At least with concerts I could see that if you’ve heard that one favorite song then you might leave early (maybe, but it still now that I think about it, no it’s just wrong), but at a basketball game you don’t even know the final score yet! So I feel your pain. I’m the one at the blowout basketball game who refuses to leave until the final buzzer sounds. I’m the one that screams at the people sitting nearby who aren’t cheering enough. WTF do people go to these things for if they aren’t real fans? Sheesh.

Sorry, I’m kind of on a roll today. Lots of vitriol left over from the shitstorm over at my blog today that I just poured out over here on a totally different topic. I should go get a mop and clean it up. . .
