I think your efforts will be rewarded with insight. I've done a lot of therapy and I spent a few years just not knowing how to be honest, so I can relate to what you said about that. It's hard. But it is a waste of time to pay someone so that you can bullshit them. I have trouble sometimes opening up to people, too. But I think as I've gotten older I've had a better sense of how short life is, and sometimes it really helps me to grab it by the balls and just open myself up.
