Jeni Who?

I started to blog when I moved to Seattle. At that point, I had been away from home (New Mexico) for just over 2 years. I missed my family. It’s a fun way to keep up with them. Also, I think everything I say and think is relevant and all should read it. I am the most hilarious person I’ve ever met.

At one point, I had 5 blogs going at once-including a very anonymous, highly read blog about an affair with a married man. That man is the man I  lived with for 5 years now. However, we are no longer together and I am trying really hard to figure out what this means. He was my whole world for 7 years and I am not sure how to naviagte life alone.

I work for a Financial Advisor. Although I love him and consider him a close friend, how I came to be in this world of finance is nothing more than luck and circumstances. I am not passionate about it and I plan to figure out what I AM passionate about so I can pursue it. Any suggestions would be welcome.

I have 3 Grays (cats), The Gray (real name: Stormi), Landon and Jake. I love them more than anything and am more than willing to revolve my life around them.

I am extremely close to my family, especially my siblings: Dawn, Joe and Ed. Dawn is married with 2 kids-the best nephews to ever exist. Joe recently moved to Seattle, which, as you may guess, thrills me to no end. We moved in together after our break-ups and we’ll see how that all goes. Ed goes to school here at Seattle University and puts up with me on the weekends. My mom still lives in New Mexico. In fact, the majority of my family lives in New Mexico, where I grew up. I have an uncle and some cousins (hi Mary!) down south in Olympia and a few others from my mom’s side scattered about. My dad lives [unhappily] in MN. I am very lucky, cause I usually get to see the family about 3 times a year. My family makes life worth living.

My other family-the Hardcore 4-are the amazing friends I have made here in Seattle. Tim, Louisa and Heidi make my every day fun and funny. We don’t always spend a lot of time together, but we will be there for each other without question.

I mostly blog about my feelings. I like to whine.

You’ve been warned.
