I started to blog when I moved to Seattle. At that point, I had been away from home (New Mexico) for just over 2 years. I missed my family. It’s a fun way to keep up with them. Also, I think everything I say and think is relevant and all should read it. I am the most hilarious person I’ve ever met.
At one point, I had 5 blogs going at once-including a very anonymous, highly read blog about an affair with a married man. That man is the man I have lived with for 3 years now. I [finally] publicly outed myself in this post. After a trying year, I’ve decided to be honest to a fault. It hasn’t hurt me yet.
I work for a Financial Advisor. How I came to be in this world of finance is nothing more than luck and circumstances. I am not passionate about it and I plan to figure out what I AM passionate about so I can pursue it. Any suggestions would be welcome.
My boyfriend, Michael, and I live in Bellevue, WA. We bought a condo, totally remodeled it and live together, in sin, happily. We have no plans to ever marry or have children. We DO have 3 Grays (cats), The Gray (real name: Stormi), Landon and Jake. We love them more than anything and are more than willing to revolve our lives around them.
I am extremely close to my family, especially my siblings: Dawn, Joe and Ed. Dawn is married with 2 kids-the best nephews to ever exist. Joe was recently promoted and that led him home to New Mexico. Ed just started school here at Seattle University. It will be epic. My mom still lives in New Mexico. In fact, the majority of my family lives in New Mexico, where I grew up. I have an uncle and some cousins (hi Mary!) down south in Olympia and a few others from my mom’s side scattered about. My dad lives [unhappily] in MN. I am very lucky, cause I usually get to see the family about 3 times a year. My family makes life worth living.
My other family-the Hardcore 4-are the amazing friends I have made here in Seattle. Tim, Louisa and Heidi make my every day fun and funny. We don’t always spend a lot of time together, but we will be there for each other without question.
I mostly blog about my feelings. I like to whine.
You’ve been warned.
What you say?
